This guide summarises the Testkart Educator, Content Publishing & Marketplace Guidelines and the teacher sections of the Testkart Terms & Conditions (testkart.in/terms). Read it before you submit any product.
Registering on Testkart does not automatically give an educator the right to publish. Every educator and every product can be verified, reviewed and checked again later.
How review works
Uploading a product does not put it on sale. When you submit, it goes to the Testkart team for review and goes live only after approval.
1 Review and submit page: Submit for review sends the product to the Testkart team. Our team reviews it before students can find it.
2 Checks run before you submit, for example: every test has questions, every question has a correct answer, and the listing has a thumbnail (optional, but it helps the product stand out).
1 Filter your products by All, Published, Drafts and Unpublished.
2 Each card shows its status, for example DRAFT or UNPUBLISHED.
After review, a product gets one of five outcomes:
Approved: meets the publishing standards and can be published.
Changes Required: fix the listed issues before publication.
Copyright Review: ownership or distribution rights need more verification.
Rejected: does not meet Testkart's publishing requirements.
Blocked: a serious violation was found and the product cannot be published. Serious violations can also lead to action on the account.
Passing review once is not permanent. A published product can be reviewed again after student complaints, copyright complaints, quality concerns, broken or outdated content, or platform audits.
Only publish content you have the right to sell
You may upload or sell only content that you created, own, have valid rights to distribute, or are licensed to use. Testkart has zero tolerance for piracy. These are prohibited:
Stolen courses and pirated PDFs
Copyrighted or scanned books uploaded without the publisher's permission
Courses, test series or handwritten notes copied from another educator
Paid material downloaded from another platform, or bought elsewhere and resold
Telegram or WhatsApp material uploaded without ownership
Recorded lectures belonging to another educator or organisation
Content substantially reproduced from another creator without permission
Note: Giving credit to the original creator does not mean you have permission.
Where Testkart receives credible information about pirated material, it can block or remove the product, suspend or ban the account, preserve records, share information with the rights holder where the law allows, and cooperate with investigations. The rights holder can also take legal action.
Originality and AI-assisted content
Products can be rejected or removed if they are mainly copied or lightly modified material, duplicate uploads, mass-generated low-quality content, AI-generated material published without meaningful review, or low-effort compilations. AI-assisted content is allowed, but you stay responsible for its accuracy, originality, copyright compliance and quality.
Quality standards by product type
Courses should have understandable audio, clear video, properly organised lessons with relevant titles, a logical progression and working resources. Avoid blank videos, repeated videos listed as separate lessons, broken resources and fake lessons added to increase course size.
Study notes and PDFs should be clearly readable, properly scanned or digitally created, correctly oriented, organised, relevant to the advertised subject and free of unnecessary blank pages. Very poor scans, unreadable handwriting or materially incomplete documents may not be approved.
Mock tests should have proper questions, clear options, correct answers, explanations where provided, relevant syllabus coverage, correct marking information and reasonably accurate exam alignment. Check every question before you publish. Repeated factual errors can lead to review or removal.
Deliver what the listing promises
If the listing says 50 video lectures, 20 mock tests or 500 practice questions, the product must contain them. Material differences can lead to corrections, unpublishing, removal or account restrictions.
Thumbnails
A good thumbnail names the product, mentions the exam or subject, uses readable text and a clean layout, avoids excess text, and represents the actual product with your own branding.
No phone numbers on thumbnails. This includes mobile and WhatsApp numbers and numbers inside promotional graphics. A product can be blocked from publication until the thumbnail is fixed.
No misleading claims such as Guaranteed Selection, Guaranteed Rank, 100% Success, Guaranteed Government Job or Guaranteed AIR 1.
No other educator's face, branding or intellectual property without authorisation.
You may add your own logo, name, institute branding, copyright notice or watermark to your material. Testkart does not add its own watermark to your content.
Titles, descriptions and pricing
Titles should say exactly what the student buys. Good example from the guidelines: UGC NET Paper 1 Complete Mock Test Series – 20 Full-Length Tests. Avoid excessive capitals, clickbait, fake urgency, keyword stuffing, false discounts and guaranteed-outcome claims.
Descriptions should cover what the student receives, the target audience, exam, subjects and topics, the number of lessons, tests and PDFs, the language, the format and any important limitations.
Price responsibly. Do not inflate prices to advertise false discounts. Testkart does not guarantee sales, revenue, enrolments, reach, visibility or ranking.
No guaranteed results
You cannot guarantee academic or career outcomes, for example 100% Selection Guaranteed, Guaranteed Pass or Guaranteed Exam Clearance. You can describe how your product supports preparation.
Illegal content and exam integrity
Illegal material, malware, fraudulent content, fake documents or certificates, and unlawfully leaked exam papers are strictly prohibited and can lead to immediate removal, account bans and reporting to authorities. Legitimately available previous-year questions can be used, subject to applicable rights.
Student data and conduct
Do not publicly share students' phone numbers, emails, payment details, documents, private conversations or records without permission. Use testimonials, screenshots and results only with permission. Fake reviews, fake testimonials, fabricated results, harassment, spam and impersonation can all lead to enforcement.
The Terms & Conditions add rules for student data you see as a teacher: use it only to deliver and support the products a student bought from you, do not sell or share it, keep downloaded data secure, and delete it when you no longer need it.
1 Section 10 of the Terms & Conditions: by submitting content, you confirm you own or have rights to it, it does not infringe third-party rights, it complies with the law, it contains no one's personal data without their agreement, and it is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Updates and unpublishing
Update products when the syllabus or exam pattern changes, when you find significant errors, or when files or videos stop working. You can stop offering a product for new purchases, but do not remove or materially reduce content already promised to existing students. If the effect on existing students is unclear, contact Testkart first.
What happens after a violation
Enforcement escalates: warning, required correction, product rejection, temporary unpublishing, permanent removal, publishing restrictions, verification removal, temporary suspension, permanent ban and legal escalation. Deliberate piracy, fraud, impersonation, serious illegal material, malicious files and repeated attempts to bypass the rules can lead to immediate account action.
