A step-by-step walkthrough of the Digital Products module, captured from a real account session: Create → Fill Details → Upload → Publish.

Before You Start

To create and sell anything on TestKart, you need an active teacher account. Make sure you signed up as a teacher, not a student.

The Notes & PDFs module (labelled Digital Products inside the app) lets you upload PDFs — study material, question banks, notes, or eBooks — set a price, and sell them directly to students.

1. Open the Notes & PDFs Module

Notes & PDFs in the sidebar (highlighted).

Sign in to testkart.in → Teacher’s App. In the left sidebar under APPLICATION, click Notes & PDFs (highlighted below). This opens the Digital Products dashboard, listing every product you’ve created — here shown with two existing products.

 2. Start a New Product

+ Create Product button (highlighted)

Click the orange + Create Product button in the top-right (highlighted below). This opens the Create Digital Product modal.

3. Fill in the Basic Details

The top of the modal captures the product’s identity: Product Title (a clear, searchable name), Short Description (a one-line hook, max 255 characters, shown on the product card), and Full Description — a rich-text body with its own toolbar for headings, bullets, bold, and links, highlighted below.

Pick Category & Language

Scroll down to Category and Language (both highlighted below). Category controls where the product is discovered (Study Material, Question Bank, Notes, eBooks, and more). Language opens a long list covering English, Hindi, and every major regional language.

Category set to eBooks; Language dropdown open showing the full list (both highlighted).

Set the Exam Name

The Exam Name field (highlighted below) is an autosuggest — typing brings up matching boards and exams such as MPBSE, CBSE, ICSE, ISC, Maharashtra Board, and SSC CGL.

 4. Set Price and Tags

Both highlighted below: enter a Price (INR) — 0 publishes it free, any other value sells at that amount — and comma-separated Tags for search and discovery.

5. Upload the PDF and Set Pages

Under Product Files (PDF), give the file a title and upload it. Once uploaded, the file turns into a green success card (highlighted below) showing its name, size, and detected page count. Total Pages is filled in automatically; set Preview Pages (also highlighted) to control how much students can see for free before buying.

6. Product Created — Manage It in the List

After clicking Create Product, a confirmation toast confirms success (highlighted below) and the new product appears as a row in the list, also highlighted, alongside the two products that already existed. Every row shows Category, Price, Status, Sales, Views, and Actions (Submit for Review, ✎ Edit, 🗑 Delete). New products start as Draft.

 7. Edit Anytime

Click ✎ on any row to reopen the same modal with every field prefilled — now titled Edit Digital Product (highlighted below) to confirm you’re editing, not creating. Change anything and click Save Changes.

"Edit Digital Product" header confirms edit mode (highlighted).

 8. Filter and Search Your Catalogue

Above the products table, Search, the Status filter (Published / Draft / Archived), and the Category filter — both highlighted below — help you manage a growing catalogue.
