Switching is a process of transferring data packets from one device to another in a network using specific devices called switches

Description

Switching is the process of forwarding data from a source to a destination by establishing efficient paths through interconnected network nodes (switches). It operates at the Data Link Layer (Layer 2) of the OSI model and directs traffic using hardware (MAC) addresses.
