APPSC Forest Beat Officer Eligibility: Age, Education and Physical
APPSC Forest Beat Officer eligibility depends on education, age, physical standards, medical fitness and, for many posts, local status in Andhra Pradesh. The rules below come from Notification No. 06/2025 issued by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), the latest notification with full eligibility rules. Age is counted on the reference date set in each notification; in Notification No. 06/2025 it was 1 July 2025.
This page sets out every condition, the age relaxation for reserved categories, the height and chest standards, the walking test and the local and agency-area rules that decide which posts you can compete for.
