CTET Online Course 2026: How to Choose the Right One

Structured CTET preparation for Paper 1 and Paper 2, from pedagogy basics to full-length practice.

A CTET online course gives you structured lessons, a study plan and practice for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test. With the current session's exam scheduled for 12 and 13 December 2026, a good course can help you cover Child Development and Pedagogy, both languages and your subject papers in time, especially if you are balancing preparation with work or studies.

How to Choose the Right Course

  • Paper match: Pick a course built for your paper. Paper I and Paper II need different subject coverage.

  • Strong pedagogy teaching: Pedagogy carries up to half the marks in several sections, so it should be taught in depth, not as an add-on.

  • NCERT-based content: Subject lessons should follow NCERT books for Classes 1 to 8.

  • Language: Choose a course in the medium you are comfortable with, Hindi or English.

  • Practice included: Look for built-in tests and previous year questions.

  • Doubt support and revision: Check for doubt solving, revision sessions or short notes.

Who Should Take an Online Course?

  • First-time candidates who are new to pedagogy

  • In-service teachers who need a flexible schedule

  • Candidates who failed to reach 90 marks earlier and need a structured restart

  • Candidates preparing for CTET along with a state TET or teacher recruitment exam

If your concepts are already strong, a mock test series and good notes may be enough.
