RPSC School Lecturer Cut Off: Latest Cycle Marks and How to Set Your Target
The RPSC School Lecturer cut off is not one number. The Rajasthan Public Service Commission prepares results subject by subject and category by category, so the marks needed for Hindi are different from those needed for History or Chemistry. This page shows the unreserved cut-off figures reported for the 2025-26 cycle, explains how to read them, and helps you set a realistic target score for your own subject.
Latest cycle cut-off marks (2025-26)
The written exam for this cycle began on 31 May 2026, and subject-wise results were published from 7 August 2026. The figures below are the unreserved (General) cut-offs reported by an education website that compiled them from the result PDFs. They are not an official table, and the scale of marks was not stated by the source, so compare them with the result PDF of your subject on https://rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.
Subject | Result date (reported) | General (UR) cut-off, reported |
|---|---|---|
Hindi | 7 August 2026 | 188.97 |
English | 10 August 2026 | 193.18 |
History | 11 August 2026 | 228.73 |
Chemistry | 11 August 2026 | 202.07 |
For several reserved categories, the same compilation shows "ALL", which means every candidate who met the minimum qualifying marks was included for the next stage, so no separate cut-off score applied. For other subjects such as Commerce, Economics, Sociology, Political Science, Physics and Geography, the reported cut-offs were either marked "ALL" or not available at the time of writing. Treat these as indicative, and check the result PDF for the exact category column, including women and widow categories where they apply.
What affects the RPSC School Lecturer cut-off
Number of posts in the subject: A subject with many posts, such as Hindi, shortlists more candidates than one with few posts.
Difficulty of the paper: A harder Paper II lowers scores across the board and pulls the cut-off down.
Number of applicants: More competition in popular subjects pushes the cut-off up.
Category and shortlisting rules: RPSC shortlists candidates for verification in a set proportion to the posts, so the cut-off is simply the score of the last shortlisted candidate.
Marks scale: Make sure you compare your raw score with the correct scale in the result notice.
Year-on-year trends are not given here because verified figures for earlier cycles were not available to us. Instead of relying on a trend from unofficial pages, compare the current result PDF with the previous year's PDF on the Commission's website for your own subject.
How to set your target score
Find your subject's latest cut-off: Use the official result PDF for your subject and category.
Add a safety margin: Aim for at least 20 to 30 marks above the last unreserved cut-off, because the next cycle can be harder or more competitive.
Split the target across papers: Plan on about one-third from Paper I and two-thirds from Paper II, matching the 150 and 300 marks of the papers.
Protect accuracy: Each wrong answer costs about 0.67 marks, so a lower attempt count with high accuracy is often the safer route.
Track mock scores: Treat your average of the last five full-length mocks as a better predictor than your best score.
Cut-offs change every year with difficulty, vacancies and the number of applicants. Treat last year's figures as a benchmark only, and aim for a clear margin above them rather than a bare pass.
