RRB Paramedical Cut Off: Previous Year Cut-off Marks and 2026 Target

The RRB Paramedical cut-off is the lowest normalised CBT score at which candidates were shortlisted for document verification. It is set separately for each RRB, each post, each railway unit and each community, so there is no single cut-off for the whole exam. This page lists indicative RRB Paramedical cut-offs from the last cycle, CEN 03/2025, and explains how to use them as a target for CEN 05/2026.

Cut-offs change every year with difficulty, vacancies and the number of applicants. Treat the figures below as a benchmark only, and aim for a clear margin above them rather than a bare pass.

Source: RRB Ranchi part panel notice dated 28 July 2026 and RRB Secunderabad result notice dated 30 May 2026, both for CEN 03/2025. "Not listed" means the notice gave no figure for that category and unit. These are indicative figures from two RRBs only; other RRBs published their own cut-offs, and many UR cut-offs for Nursing Superintendent across RRBs were in the 70s.

What Affects the Cut-off

  • Vacancies per RRB and post: A post with one or two vacancies at an RRB can have a very high cut-off because only the top scorer is selected.

  • Number of applicants: Nursing and pharmacy posts attract the most candidates, which pushes their cut-offs up.

  • Paper difficulty: A tougher professional section usually brings cut-offs down.

  • Normalisation: Scores across shifts are normalised, so your raw answer key score can differ from your final score.

How to Set Your Target Score

For CEN 05/2026, a sensible working target is to aim 5 to 8 marks above the last cut-off for your RRB, post and category. For most Nursing Superintendent and Pharmacist candidates, that means scoring around 80 or more in full-length mocks.

Final cut-offs for CEN 05/2026 will be published by each RRB on the official RRB website after the CBT results.
