Supreme Court Personal Assistant Study Notes for Quick Revision

Revision-ready notes for English, GK, judiciary provisions, SC Rules and computers for the Supreme Court PA exam.

Good Supreme Court Personal Assistant study notes turn a wide syllabus into pages you can revise in minutes. The written test covers General English, reasoning and General Knowledge, the computer test covers practical operation, and the newer format adds judiciary provisions and the Supreme Court Rules, 2013. Well-organised notes keep all of this ready for the final weeks, when most of your time should go to mocks and dictation.

How to Organise Your Notes

  • One page per topic: Keep each topic short enough to revise in five minutes.

  • Error log: Record mistakes from every mock and dictation session, and revise the log weekly.

  • Monthly current affairs: Close each month with a one-page summary of key events and judgments.

  • Legal word bank: Collect terms such as petitioner, respondent, affidavit and adjournment with correct spellings and shorthand outlines.

Reliable Sources for Notes

  • Bare text of the Constitution: Use the official text for Articles 124 to 147 and related articles instead of paraphrased summaries.

  • Supreme Court Rules, 2013: Read the Rules on the Supreme Court website, since questions can test exact wording.

  • Official notices: Keep the latest recruitment notice handy so your notes match the current pattern and qualifying marks.

Revision Schedule

  1. Daily: Ten minutes on your error log and legal word bank.

  2. Weekly: One full pass of the notes for subjects studied that week.

  3. Final month: Revise all notes twice, alongside full-length mocks and daily dictation at 100 to 110 w.p.m.

Notes work well when you check them against timed questions. After revising a topic, attempt a short topic test on Testkart and add any new mistakes to your error log.
