Percentile
The percentage of test takers who scored at or below a given score.
What is a percentile?
A percentile shows relative standing, not marks. A student at the 90th percentile scored as well as or better than 90 percent of the group.
Percentile is different from percentage, which only shows the share of total marks a student earned.
