MP Patwari Eligibility 2026: Qualification, CPCT and Age Limit

MP Patwari eligibility decides who can apply for Patwari posts in the Madhya Pradesh Revenue Department through the Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB). This page follows the 2026 cycle, advertised in the Group-02 Sub-Group-04 Combined Recruitment Test 2026 rule book, where all 200 Patwari posts are a special recruitment for candidates with disabilities.

That makes 2026 different from earlier cycles. Besides a degree, CPCT and the age limit, you need a valid disability certificate for an eligible disability group and Madhya Pradesh domicile. Age is counted as on 1 January 2026. Below you will find each condition, the age relaxation rules, the conditions that disqualify candidates, and the documents to keep ready.

Educational Qualification and CPCT

Graduation

Candidates need a graduation degree from a university recognised by law. The rule book does not set a minimum percentage or a specific discipline for Patwari, so a degree in any stream such as B.A., B.Sc or B.Com is acceptable. Your degree should be complete and the result declared by the date the rule book fixes for eligibility, so check the rule book if you are in your final year.

CPCT requirement

The Computer Proficiency Certification Test (CPCT) is the state's test for computer skills and typing. For Patwari, candidates need a CPCT scorecard showing computer proficiency and Hindi typing.

  • If you already have CPCT: Keep the scorecard ready for document verification and check that it is valid on the date of verification.

  • If you do not have CPCT yet: You can still apply. A selected candidate must pass CPCT within the three-year probation period, otherwise the appointment can be cancelled.

Details on CPCT exam dates and scorecard validity are on the official CPCT portal.
