Rajasthan CET Graduate Level Syllabus 2026: Topic-wise Guide

The Rajasthan CET Graduate Level syllabus is set by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) in the CET (Graduate Level) 2026 advertisement. It covers one objective paper of 150 questions and 300 marks, spread across 14 areas from Rajasthan history and geography to computer knowledge, public health, General Hindi and General English.

RSSB names the topics in the official CET Graduate Level 2026 advertisement but does not say how many questions come from each subject. The lists below follow the official syllabus, and the start-with suggestions and study order are our guidance based on the paper's structure. Use them as a working checklist, not as an official weightage.

  • Unfair means Act: The current events and civic duty section includes the main provisions of the Rajasthan Public Examination (Measures for Prevention of Unfair Means in Recruitment) Act, 2022.

  • Older lists: Older pages may still show an earlier topic list, so follow the official 2026 advertisement.

How to Use Previous Papers

Check the old papers section of the RSSB website for earlier question papers. The CET (Graduate Level) has been held twice so far: in January 2023 for the 2022 cycle and on 27 and 28 September 2024 for the 2024 cycle, each across four shifts.

  • Map questions to topics: Go through each paper and tag every question with its syllabus area. This shows where questions cluster better than any guess.

  • Spot repeated themes: Rajasthan forts, folk deities, rivers, schemes and constitutional bodies often return in new forms.

  • Check the level: Note how deep the mathematics and grammar questions go, so you do not over-prepare or under-prepare.

  • Watch for new areas: Topics such as public health and AI are listed in the 2026 syllabus, so do not rely only on old papers for them.

Common Syllabus Mistakes

  • Skipping the language sections: General Hindi and General English sit in the same paper, so weak grammar costs marks you could have earned quickly.

  • Treating Rajasthan GK as one topic: It spreads across history, culture, geography, polity, economy and current affairs, and each needs its own notes.

  • Ignoring new topics: Public health, cyber security and e-services are short topics that are easy to cover and easy to miss.

  • Studying old scheme lists: Scheme names change, so check current state and central programmes before the exam.

Is There a Second Stage Syllabus?

No. The CET has a single paper and no interview. Any written exam, interview or skill test after it belongs to the recruitment process of the specific post and has its own syllabus in that post's advertisement.

How to Cover the Syllabus

  1. Weeks 1 to 4: Cover Rajasthan history, art and culture, and Rajasthan geography. Start 30 to 40 minutes of daily current affairs with monthly notes.

  3. Weeks 6 to 10: Finish computer knowledge, public health and the language sections. Begin topic tests and 20-minute sectional sets.

  4. Weeks 10 onward: Take full-length timed papers on an OMR sheet, mark option E for skipped questions, and revise from your error log.
