Rajasthan Police SI Cut Off 2025: Category-wise Interview Shortlist Marks
The Rajasthan Police SI cut off is the lowest score at which candidates in a category were shortlisted at a given stage of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) Sub Inspector/Platoon Commander recruitment. For the 2025 cycle, RPSC published official category-wise cut-off marks on 15 September 2026 for candidates who qualified for the interview after the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
There was no separate merit cut-off at the written stage this cycle: RPSC sent everyone who reached the minimum qualifying marks to the PET. The tables below reproduce the official interview shortlist figures. Cut-offs change every year with difficulty, vacancies and the number of applicants, so treat these figures as a benchmark only and aim for a clear margin above them.
How the Cut-off Works at Each Stage
Stage | What decides who moves on | 2025 outcome |
|---|---|---|
Written exam to PET | Minimum 36% in each paper and 40% in aggregate (SC and ST relaxation up to 5 marks) | All who met the minimum: 20,455 non-scheduled area and 343 scheduled area candidates |
PET to interview | At least 50% in the PET, then merit on combined written and PET marks, up to three times the vacancies | 3,957 non-scheduled area and 62 scheduled area candidates, provisionally |
Final selection | Written plus interview marks, with minimum interview and aggregate percentages | Final result awaited as of 20 October 2026 |
Rajasthan Police SI Cut Off 2025: Non-Scheduled Area
The notice lists the marks without stating the maximum. Under the service rules quoted in the advertisement, the interview list is drawn on the combined written and PET marks. "All" means every candidate who obtained the minimum qualifying marks under the service rules was shortlisted; "N.A." means no candidate was available with the minimum qualifying marks.
Category | General (male) posts | Female posts | Ex-serviceman posts |
|---|---|---|---|
General (UR) | 298.12 | 246.15 | 237.81 |
OBC | 298.12 | 246.15 | 237.81 |
MBC | 298.12 | 239.50 | 237.81 |
EWS | 298.12 | 246.15 | 231.06 |
SC | 244.04 | All | All |
ST | 278.52 | 227.27 | All |
Sahariya | N.A. | N.A. | Not listed |
For divorcee posts, the shortlist took all candidates with minimum qualifying marks in the General, ST, OBC, MBC and EWS categories, with N.A. for SC. Widow posts were N.A. in every category.
Rajasthan Police SI Cut Off 2025: Scheduled Area
Category | General (male) posts | Female posts |
|---|---|---|
General (UR) (SA) | All | All |
SC (SA) | All | Not listed |
ST (SA) | All | N.A. |
In the scheduled area, widow and divorcee posts were N.A., and the General ex-serviceman post was noted as already available in the respective category, with N.A. for ST.
Trend
There is no comparable earlier cut-off to set a trend. The previous recruitment, advertised in 2021, was cancelled in full by RPSC in May 2026, and its re-exam held on 20 September 2026 had no result as of 20 October 2026. Treat the 2025 figures as the first reliable benchmark for the current pattern.
What Affects the Cut-off
Paper difficulty: a tougher General Hindi or GK paper pulls scores and the cut-off down.
Vacancies: the 61 extra Sub Inspector (AP) posts added in June 2026 widened the shortlist for the non-scheduled area.
Number of candidates: more qualified candidates per post push the cut-off up.
PET performance: since the interview list uses combined written and PET marks, strong PET scores can make up for a slightly lower written score.
Category and post type: female, ex-serviceman and scheduled area posts have their own cut-offs, often far from the general male figure.
How to Set Your Target
Clear the minimums first: 36% in each paper and 40% overall, because failing one paper ends the attempt regardless of the total.
Plan for a margin: aim well above the last cut-off for your category rather than a bare pass, because difficulty and vacancies change.
Count the PET: train to score high in all three PET events, since those marks feed the interview shortlist.
Track mock benchmarks: measure accuracy and score per paper in full-length timed tests, and keep raising the floor, not just the best score.
