RPSC 1st Grade Syllabus 2026: Paper 1 and Paper 2
The RPSC 1st Grade syllabus covers two papers: Paper I on General Awareness and General Studies, common to all subjects, and Paper II on the subject you apply for. The Rajasthan Public Service Commission publishes a separate syllabus PDF for Paper I and for each School Lecturer subject. This page follows the scheme used for the 2025 recruitment (Advertisement No. 06/2025-26), whose written exam was held from 31 May to 11 June 2026.
Below you will find the paper-wise structure, the Paper I topic list with marks, how Paper II is divided across levels, and the core areas of the most popular subjects. The topic notes for each subject are a working checklist built from the official structure; always download the subject PDF from the RPSC website for the exact wording.

Key changes to know
Educational management is part of Paper I: the scheme includes the educational scenario in Rajasthan and the RTE Act 2009, worth 30 of the 150 marks.
Pedagogy sits inside Paper II: educational psychology, teaching methods, teaching-learning material and ICT are tested in the subject paper, not as a separate test.
Paper II is level-wise: questions are drawn from senior secondary, graduation and postgraduate content in fixed proportions.
Special posts differ: Physical Education and Coach posts have their own papers and syllabus, so do not follow the general subject plan for them.
Older pages may still show a different Paper I question count or an older topic list, so follow the latest official syllabus.

RPSC 1st Grade Paper II structure
Paper II follows the same four-part structure for every general subject. Only the subject content changes.
