Delhi Police AWO/TPO Cut-Off Guide

The Delhi Police AWO/TPO cut-off is the score used for a particular selection decision in a particular recruitment cycle. It must be read with the stage, candidate group and category. A minimum qualifying percentage in the notification is not the same as the competitive cut-off used to shortlist candidates.

This guide uses the 2025 recruitment framework and official 2026 result updates. Exact competitive category scores have not been reproduced here because the complete original CBE cut-off table was not verified in this research. No expected or estimated score is presented as official.

Minimum Qualifying Marks in the 2025 Notice

Candidate group

Aggregate minimum in the notice

How to interpret it

General/EWS

40%

Minimum consideration threshold, not assured shortlisting

SC/ST/OBC

35%

Minimum consideration threshold, not the competitive category cut-off

Ex-servicemen

30%

Subject to the notice’s applicable provisions

The notice also includes a provision for SSC to lower minimum marks if the required number of candidates does not qualify. Do not convert these percentages into a prediction for another cycle. Use the applicable result write-up to identify the score that actually determined shortlisting.

Official Result Timeline and Category Context

SSC’s final-answer-key notice confirms that the CBE result for the 2025 examination was declared on 29 May 2026. A notice dated 25 June 2026 added candidates after consideration of OBC-from-NCT-of-Delhi claims. The additional-shortlisting notice states that other contents of the original result write-up remain unchanged.

This is why a cut-off screenshot without the original heading can mislead. Check whether it concerns male or female candidates, open or departmental recruitment, ex-servicemen, and the relevant category. Preserve all decimal places shown in the official table when making a personal comparison.

Read the official additional-shortlisting notice for that specific update. It is not a substitute for the complete original result table, and it should not be treated as a fresh expected-cut-off announcement.

Why Cut-Offs Change

The number of vacancies, candidate performance, paper difficulty and the shortlisting rules affect the outcome. When multiple shifts are used, normalisation is another reason a raw practice score cannot be directly equated with an official score. Your mock percentile also depends on the people who took that particular test.

Previous cut-offs are benchmarks only. A vacancy revision or a different performance distribution can change the score needed to progress. Do not assume that adding a small fixed number to last year’s score guarantees selection.

Set a Preparation Target You Can Control

Build your target around stable performance across several comparable papers. Track the score range, accuracy, time left and the number of avoidable errors. A repeated calculation mistake is a concrete improvement opportunity; a predicted cut-off posted without a method is not.

After a timed test, identify which wrong answers came from missing knowledge and which came from rushed decisions. Reattempt the relevant questions after revision. Use the AWO/TPO mock-test analysis plan to turn results into a weekly study action rather than collecting scores.

On Testkart, assess any relevant practice listing for pattern alignment before comparing its scores. Testkart practice results are preparation evidence, not official selection scores. Keep that distinction clear when discussing targets with other candidates.

How to Check an Official Cut-Off

  • Open the original write-up: Use SSC’s result notice for the full recruitment title and cycle.

  • Match your group: Read the correct sex, recruitment channel and category row.

  • Read the stage: CBE shortlisting is different from a final appointment decision.

  • Check updates: Review later corrigenda and additional lists that affect candidate status.

  • Save your evidence: Keep the result notice and your score record when available.

Use the AWO/TPO exam pattern to understand scoring and the eligibility checklist for non-score conditions. A score above a benchmark still does not remove the need to qualify later stages and satisfy verification.

The SSC website remains the source for result notices. No unverified historical or predicted competitive cut-off is supplied on this page.
