HSSC Group D Study Notes 2026: What to Study and How to Revise

Short notes, error logs and a revision schedule built around the HSSC Group D CET syllabus and the Haryana GK section.

Good HSSC Group D notes are short, organised by subject and easy to revise in the last weeks. The CET syllabus is broad, with six areas in one paper, so notes that are too long defeat their purpose. The aim is a compact set you can read many times, not a second textbook.

This page shows what to include for each subject, how to organise your notes and when to revise them.

How to organise your notes

  • Short notes: Keep each topic to one page, in your own words.

  • Formula sheet: Put every maths formula on a single sheet you can read in ten minutes.

  • Error log: After each mock, write the topic, the mistake and the right method.

  • Haryana file: Keep a separate file, since this section carries 25% of the paper, and add to it every week.

  • Monthly current affairs: Make one page a month for state and national events, and revise the last three months together.

Revision schedule

  1. Same day: Read the day's notes once in the evening.

  2. End of week: Revise all notes from the week, and test yourself without looking.

  3. End of month: Revise the formula sheet, the error log and the monthly current affairs together.

  4. Final two weeks: Read only short notes, the formula sheet and the error log, and attempt mocks.

Reliable sources

Start with the official syllabus on the Commission's website, and school textbooks up to Class 10 for science, maths, history and geography. For Haryana topics, use state government publications and reliable news reports. Do not trust notes that give dates or vacancy numbers without naming the official notice.
