HSSC Group D Syllabus 2026: Subject-Wise Topics and Weightage

The HSSC Group D syllabus for the Common Eligibility Test (CET) is split into two parts: 75% for five common subjects and 25% for General Knowledge of Haryana. The paper is set at Matriculation level, so the topics are basic, but the range is wide. This page lists the subjects and topics named in the Commission's advertisement for the current cycle, Advertisement No. 05/2026.

One honesty note first. The 2026 advertisement gives the two-part split and the topic lists. It does not repeat the subject-wise weightage. The percentages below come from the Group D syllabus the Commission published for an earlier advertisement (No. 1/2023), which carries the same topic lists. Use them as a planning guide, not as a fixed question count. Where we add examples to a topic, such as school-level physics areas or Haryana reading areas, those are our study suggestions and not an official list.
