Rajasthan Patwari Cut-off 2025: Category-wise Final Cut-off Marks

The Rajasthan Patwari cut-off is the lowest normalised score at which candidates of a category were selected in the final merit list. RSSB publishes separate cut-offs for the Non-Scheduled Area (Non-TSP) and the Scheduled Area (TSP), and within each by category and sub-category.

Cut-offs are published as normalised scores out of 300, which is why they carry decimals. The figures below are the final cut-offs from the updated Patwar 2025 result released on 9 July 2026, as reported from the RSSB result notice. They are indicative and should be used as a benchmark only.

What Affects the Patwari Cut-off

  • Vacancies: Patwar 2025 had 3,705 posts. A smaller recruitment would push cut-offs up.

  • Number of candidates: Over six lakh candidates applied in 2025, which kept the competition tight.

  • Paper difficulty: A harder paper lowers raw scores, though normalisation adjusts for differences between shifts.

  • Negative marking: With one-third of the marks deducted per wrong answer, accuracy decides how close candidates get to the top.

How to Set Your Target Score

Cut-offs change every year with difficulty, vacancies and the number of applicants. Treat last year's figures as a benchmark only, and aim for a clear margin above them rather than a bare pass.

  • Aim above the line: If you are in the Non-TSP General category, target a score comfortably above 253 in your mock tests.

  • Measure in mocks: Track your score out of 300 after negative marking in every full-length test. You can attempt Rajasthan Patwari mock tests on Testkart to see where you stand against these benchmarks.

  • Fix accuracy first: At these cut-off levels, cutting five wrong answers often helps more than attempting ten extra questions.
