RSMSSB Grade 4 Cut Off 2026: Category-Wise Marks for Class IV
The RSMSSB Grade 4 cut-off is the lowest normalised score at which candidates were shortlisted in each category for the Class IV Employee Direct Recruitment under Advertisement No. 19/2024. The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB), formerly RSMSSB, published cut-offs with its result on 16 January 2026 and released revised cut-offs in June 2026 after correcting the answer key for one question.
RSSB sets separate cut-offs for each recruiting unit (Government Secretariat, Rajasthan Public Service Commission and other departments), for the Non-TSP and TSP areas, and for each category and sub-category. The figures below are the revised ones, out of 200 marks and rounded to two decimals. RSSB publishes them to four decimals because of normalisation.
Table of Contents

A dash means no cut-off was listed for that sub-category. RPSC had only 34 posts, so its list is short. Widow and divorcee sub-categories have their own, lower cut-offs in the official list.
TSP Area Cut-off
TSP area posts were filled through the other departments (ARD) pool only.
Category | General | Female |
|---|---|---|
General | 125.54 | 113.49 |
SC | 116.15 | 106.64 |
ST | 103.00 | 98.63 |
Disability Category Cut-off (Non-TSP, Other Departments)
Category | Cut-off |
|---|---|
Blindness and low vision (BLV) | 84.66 |
Locomotor disability or cerebral palsy (LD/CP) | 114.02 |
Hearing impairment (HI) | 34.76 |
These figures come from the revised cut-off list released in June 2026. Check the official result PDF on the RSSB website for every sub-category, including widow, divorcee and other special categories, and for the date-of-birth tie-break rules.
What the Numbers Show
Secretariat and RPSC were the hardest to reach: With few posts and many high scorers, General cut-offs crossed 174 out of 200.
Other departments were far lower: The General cut-off for the large ARD pool was about 21 marks below the Secretariat figure.
TSP cut-offs are lower still: The TSP General cut-off was close to 30 marks below the Non-TSP figure for the same pool.
We have not listed older cycles because no comparable earlier RSSB Class IV cut-off could be verified. Treat these figures as the baseline for the next notification.
What Affects the Cut-off
Number of applicants: Over 21 lakh candidates appeared for 53,749 posts, which pushed cut-offs up.
Paper difficulty and normalisation: Scores from six shifts were normalised, so your final score depends on how your shift compared with others.
Vacancies per unit and category: Fewer seats, as in the Secretariat and RPSC, mean higher cut-offs.
Answer key changes: A single revised answer changed the scores and the cut-offs in June 2026.
How to Set Your Target Score
Cut-offs change every year with difficulty, vacancies and the number of applicants. Treat last year's figures as a benchmark only, and aim for a clear margin above them rather than a bare pass.
Pick a target by unit: If you want a Non-TSP post, aim for at least 155 to 160 out of 200 in practice tests. That is roughly 95 or more correct answers with few mistakes. These targets are indicative, not official.
Control negative marks: Each wrong answer costs about 0.56 marks, so accuracy matters as much as attempts.
Track your progress: Take full-length tests and compare your scores with these cut-offs every two weeks.
