RSMSSB LDC Cut Off: Qualifying Marks and How to Set Your Target

The RSMSSB LDC cut off tells you how many written-exam marks were needed to reach the next stage, the typing and efficiency test. For the 2026 Clerk Grade-II and Junior Assistant recruitment (Advertisement No. 04/2026), the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB), earlier RSMSSB, declared the written result around 28 September 2026 and released separate shortlists for the Non-Scheduled and Scheduled Areas.

The board has not published a single overall cut-off. The marks differ by category, gender and area, and they are a shortlisting line, not a final merit mark. Figures below come from a secondary report of the official result and were not matched to the board's PDF, so treat them as indicative and check the original at https://rssb.rajasthan.gov.in/

RSMSSB LDC Cut Off 2026: Reported Marks (Non-Scheduled Area)

The written exam carries 200 marks. The table shows reported cut-off marks for candidates qualifying for the typing test, Non-Scheduled Area, for the general (male) and female sub-categories.

Category

General sub-category (out of 200)

Female sub-category (out of 200)

General

About 153.68

About 148.69

EWS

About 143.70

About 138.30

OBC

About 149.50

About 143.23

MBC

About 142.19

About 129.46

SC

About 135.03

About 124.75

ST

About 122.92

About 118.99

Scheduled Area cut-offs were lower in the same report. For example, the General sub-category figure was about 137.01. Special categories such as persons with disabilities, ex-servicemen, widows and sportspersons have their own lines in the official PDF. Because the marks have decimals, the board appears to have used a scaled score, so your raw answer count will not map exactly to these figures.

Qualifying Marks and Typing Test

Some reports mention minimum qualifying marks of 40 percent for General, OBC and EWS and about 35 percent for SC and ST, while others say no fixed percentage was announced. Clearing the written cut-off only gets you into the typing test, which is reported for January 2027 on a tentative basis.

What Affects the Cut Off

  • Paper difficulty: a tougher paper lowers the raw scores and the cut-off.

  • Vacancies and shortlist size: the board shortlisted a multiple of the vacancies, so the number of posts in a category shapes its line.

  • Applicants who appear: a larger pool of serious candidates pushes the line up.

  • Reservation and area: each category and area has its own list.

How to Set Your Target

Treat last year's figures as a benchmark only. Cut-offs change every year with difficulty, vacancies and the number of applicants, so aim for a clear margin above them rather than a bare pass. As a working rule, find your category's last line, add 10 to 15 marks, and use that as your mock-test target. Also check your Paper I and Paper II scores separately, since a very weak paper is risky even if your total looks safe.
