Wipro Elite NTH 2026 Syllabus: Topics by Section
The Wipro Elite NTH syllabus covers three skill blocks: aptitude (quantitative, logical and verbal), a written essay and a coding round. Wipro describes the assessment in broad terms, as verbal, analytical, quantitative and written communication skills followed by coding, but it does not publish a topic-wise syllabus.
The topic lists below are built from the areas Wipro names and from questions candidates report from earlier drives. Use them as a working checklist, not as an official list. The sections also change slightly from drive to drive, so read your invitation before you finalise a plan.
Table of Contents
Syllabus at a glance
Block | What it tests | Source of the topic list |
|---|---|---|
Aptitude | Quantitative, logical and verbal ability | Area names from Wipro, topics from candidate reports |
Written communication | One essay on a general topic | Area name from Wipro, format from candidate reports |
Coding | Problem solving in a programming language | Candidate reports |
Key changes to know
Coding appears in both older and current formats: Wipro's 2023 test description lists coding after the aptitude and communication sections, and current candidate reports describe two coding problems in most formats.
Some drives are shorter: A few reports describe an aptitude-and-essay format without coding. Your invite names the sections.
Old pages mislead: Older pages may still show a fixed list of sections and question counts, so follow your invitation and Wipro Careers.
Quantitative aptitude syllabus
Area | Topics to cover | Start with |
|---|---|---|
Arithmetic | Percentages, profit and loss, ratio and proportion, averages, simple and compound interest, mixtures and alligations, ages | Percentages and ratios |
Time-based problems | Time and work, pipes and cisterns, speed, time and distance, trains | Time and work |
Number system | HCF and LCM, divisibility, powers and decimals, surds and indices | HCF and LCM |
Counting and chance | Permutations and combinations, probability | Basic counting rules |
Data and geometry | Data interpretation, mensuration, calendars and clocks | Tables and bar graphs |
Arithmetic topics are asked most often in reports, so they repay the first few weeks of effort.
Logical reasoning syllabus
Area | Topics to cover | Start with |
|---|---|---|
Patterns | Number and letter series, odd one out, analogy and classification | Number series |
Relations and directions | Blood relations, direction sense, coding-decoding | Blood relations |
Arrangements | Seating arrangements, puzzles, ordering and ranking, data arrangement | Linear arrangements |
Arguments | Syllogisms, statements and conclusions, inference, data sufficiency | Syllogisms |
Verbal ability syllabus
Area | Topics to cover | Start with |
|---|---|---|
Reading | Reading comprehension, inference, contextual vocabulary | Short passages of 200 to 300 words |
Grammar | Subject-verb agreement, tenses, articles, prepositions, conjunctions, active and passive voice | Subject-verb agreement |
Correction and arrangement | Error spotting, sentence correction, para-jumbles, sentence formation | Error spotting |
Vocabulary | Synonyms, antonyms, fill in the blanks | Words from daily reading |
Verbal is often the section candidates underestimate. Because the aptitude block is usually timed per section, a weak verbal score cannot be rescued by strong quantitative marks.
Written communication syllabus
The written communication test is one essay. Reports describe general topics such as technology and jobs, social media, online education, climate and digital payments, but Wipro does not publish topics in advance. The essay is judged on clarity, structure, grammar and relevance more than on difficult vocabulary. Reported word limits vary between roughly 200 and 300 words, so check the on-screen instruction.
Structure: A short opening, two or three supported points and a brief close.
Grammar: Simple, correct sentences beat long, risky ones.
Relevance: Stay on the topic given and avoid memorised paragraphs.
Coding syllabus
Candidate reports describe easy to medium problems, usually two, in C, C++, Java or Python. The languages offered in your drive are shown on the test platform, so practise in the one you know best.
Area | Topics to cover | Start with |
|---|---|---|
Core structures | Arrays, strings, linked lists, stacks and queues | Arrays and strings |
Algorithms | Sorting, searching, recursion, hashing, two-pointer and sliding-window patterns | Sorting and binary search |
Basics | Number logic, loops, conditionals, input and output handling | Prime, GCD and digit problems |
Debugging | Output prediction, fixing faulty code | Tracing small programs by hand |
Reports say partial marks are possible when some test cases pass, but this is unconfirmed. Plan to write complete, compiling solutions with input handling that matches the problem statement. When you practise on Testkart or elsewhere, use the same language and time limit as your invitation.
Where the sections overlap
Area | Aptitude | Coding | How to plan |
|---|---|---|---|
Number logic | HCF, LCM, divisibility | GCD, prime and digit programs | Learn the maths once, then code it |
Counting | Permutations, probability | Recursion and combinations | Practise both views together |
Reading and writing | Comprehension, grammar | Reading problem statements | Daily reading helps both |
Interview rounds: is there a syllabus?
Wipro does not publish a syllabus for the discussion or interview round. Wipro's 2023 NTH page named a business discussion with the Wipro team. Candidate reports describe questions on programming basics, data structures, databases, your final-year project and standard HR topics. Revise your resume, your project and one programming language thoroughly.
How to cover the syllabus
Weeks 1 to 4: Cover arithmetic, number system and basic reasoning. Start one coding language and solve array and string problems daily.
Weeks 5 to 8: Add arrangements, syllogisms and grammar. Write one 250-word essay a week and get it checked.
Weeks 9 to 10: Move to sectional tests and medium coding problems with a timer.
Final phase: Attempt full-length mocks, analyse them the same day and revise from an error log.
