ADRE Grade 3 Syllabus 2026: Subject-wise Topics for HSSLC and Graduate Level
The ADRE Grade 3 syllabus covers one objective paper at each qualification level: Bachelor's degree level, HSSLC (Class 12) level and HSLC (Class 10) level for Driver posts. The exam is run by the State Level Recruitment Commission for Class-III Posts, Assam, with SEBA. As of October 2026, the ADRE 3.0 notification is awaited, so this page is built on the 2024 written exam of the last cycle.
An honest note before you start: the SLRC exam notices of August and September 2024 fixed the number of questions, marks and negative marking, but they did not publish a topic-wise syllabus. The subject split and topics below are the ones widely reported for the 2024 papers, and they match the official totals. Use them as a working checklist, not an official list, and check the ADRE 3.0 notification for any change.
Syllabus at a Glance
Level | Subjects | Questions | Marks | Time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
HSSLC level | Social Studies, GK, Reasoning, Maths, English | 150 | 150 | 3 hours |
Bachelor's degree level | Same five subjects plus Reading Comprehension | 150 | 175 | 3 hours |
HSLC level (Driver) | General paper at Class 10 standard | 150 | 150 | 3 hours |
Key Points to Know
No official topic list: the SLRC published question counts and marks, not chapter lists, in the last cycle.
Assam carries real weight: Social Studies and GK together are 60 to 65 questions, and a large share is Assam-specific.
Graduate paper is different: it has 25 two-mark Reading Comprehension questions, which lifts the total to 175.
Watch for old pages: some sites still show a 200-question pattern or a Grade III paper without Social Studies. Follow the official 150-question format until a new notice says otherwise.
