Bihar Police Constable Mock Test: Online Practice Guide
Timed practice for the CSBC written exam, with a simple plan to analyse every mock and cross the 30 per cent qualifying line.
A Bihar Police Constable mock test lets you rehearse the written exam before the real day. The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) paper has 100 objective questions, 100 marks and a 2-hour limit, and it is qualifying only. You need at least 30 per cent to move to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), so mock tests are the safest way to cross that line with a margin and then give your remaining time to physical training.
The figures here follow the CSBC Advt. No. 01/2025 cycle, so check the latest notice for your recruitment.
Pattern to Practise In
Particular | Details |
|---|---|
Mode | Offline, OMR sheet |
Questions and marks | 100 questions, 1 mark each |
Duration | 2 hours (120 minutes) |
Qualifying marks | 30 per cent |
Role in selection | Qualifying only; the PET decides merit |
That works out to about 72 seconds per question. Keep your mock timer at 120 minutes.
Types of Mock Tests to Attempt
Test type | What it covers | When to take it |
|---|---|---|
Topic-wise test | One area, such as percentage, Bihar history or Hindi grammar | While you learn each topic |
Full-length mock | All 100 questions in 120 minutes | Weekly, then every 2 to 3 days near the exam |
How to Use Mock Tests
Take a baseline test first: Attempt one full mock before deep study. The score shows how far you are from the 30 per cent line.
Practise by topic: Fix weak areas in General Knowledge, Mathematics, Hindi, English and school-level science and social studies with short tests.
Shift to weekly full mocks: Build the habit of finishing 100 questions without rushing the OMR marking.
Increase frequency in the last weeks: Revise from your error log between tests.
How to Analyse a Mock Test
Wrong answers: Note whether the cause was a concept gap, a careless slip or a guess.
Slow questions: Mark any question that took more than two minutes and practise that type separately.
Skipped but solvable: Revisit these first, since they are the easiest marks to recover.
Track accuracy and your score trend across tests. Aim to stay well above 30 per cent in every mock, so a harder paper on exam day does not put you at risk.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Skipping physical training: The written score does not count in merit, so do not chase extra marks at the cost of the PET.
Guessing blindly: Read the negative marking clause in the official notice and on your admit card first.
