DSSSB Eligibility 2026: Age Limit and Qualification for PRT, TGT, PGT
DSSSB eligibility for teaching posts is set post by post in each advertisement. For PRT, TGT and PGT, the rules have three parts: an educational qualification (subject degree plus a teacher-training qualification), CTET where the post requires it, and an upper age limit of 30 years with relaxations for reserved categories.
This page sets out the DSSSB eligibility rules from the latest teaching advertisements: 05/2025 (Assistant Teacher, Primary), 06/2025 (TGT and related posts), 10/2024 (PGT) and 03/2026 (TGT Computer Science and other teaching posts). The key date to remember is the closing date of the application. Your age and qualifications are judged as on that date, so a result declared after it does not count.
