MP Board Class 10 Study Notes 2027: Subject-wise Revision Notes

Subject-wise MP Board 10th notes for quick revision of the MPBSE syllabus before the 2027 board exam.

Why MP Board Class 10 Study Notes Matter

Good MP Board Class 10 study notes let you revise six subjects in the weeks before the board exam, which runs from 24 February to 18 March 2027. The textbook is still your main source, because the 30 objective marks in each 75-mark paper come from textbook facts, definitions and formulas. Notes turn those chapters into pages you can revise in minutes.

This page shows what to put in your notes for each subject, how to organise them, and how to use them with practice tests. With best of five no longer applying to Class 10, every subject needs its own set of notes.

What to Include, Subject by Subject

Subject

What your notes should hold

Mathematics

Formula sheet for every chapter, standard trigonometric values, theorem statements, two solved examples per question type

Science

Chemical equations, definitions, labelled diagrams (heart, nephron, eye, ray diagrams), laws and units, practical observations

Social Science

Timelines and dates, key terms, cause and effect points, map item lists for Geography and History

Hindi

Poet and author details, central ideas of lessons, grammar rules for sandhi, samas, alankar and ras, letter and essay formats

English

Grammar rules with examples, letter and application formats, short summaries of each lesson and poem

Sanskrit

Shabd roop and dhatu roop tables, sandhi and pratyay rules, lesson translations

How to Organise Your Notes

  • One page per chapter: Keep each chapter on a single page so you can revise the whole syllabus in a few days.

  • Formula and diagram sheets: Keep separate sheets for Maths formulas and Science diagrams, and redraw diagrams from memory once a week.

  • Objective bank: Write one-line facts likely to appear as MCQs, fill in the blanks or true or false items.

  • Error log: After each test, note the mistake and the correct answer. Revise this log before every paper.

  • Map list: List the places, rivers, dams and industrial centres you must be able to mark on the outline map.

Revision Schedule Before the Exam

  1. October to November: Make notes as you finish each chapter, not at the end.

  2. December: First full revision from notes; fill any gaps from the textbook.

  3. January: Revise notes after each full-length practice paper and update the error log.

  4. February: Final two rounds of revision from notes and the error log only, following the exam order: Hindi on 2 March, Maths on 5 March, English on 9 March, Sanskrit on 12 March, Science on 15 March and Social Science on 18 March.
