NHM Rajasthan Nursing Officer Cut Off 2025-26

The NHM Rajasthan Nursing Officer cut off is the lowest score at which the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) recommended a candidate for a Contractual Nurse (NHM) post. The Board published final cut-offs for the 2025 cycle in February 2026, split by category, sub-category and area. Use them as a benchmark only, because cut-offs change in every cycle.

The figures below are copied from the Board's final recommendation order for 1,941 posts: 1,848 in the non-scheduled area and 93 in the scheduled area. The Board gives the scores to four decimal places and does not state the maximum in the cut-off table. The paper itself carried 450 marks, so read the figures against that total.

In the Board's order, 1,839 of the 1,848 non-scheduled area posts and all 93 scheduled area posts were filled by final selection, and one candidate was kept provisional. The Board can change a result after eligibility checks, so confirm your own status on the official result page.

Trend

This page covers one published cycle, so there is no year-on-year trend to show. Two patterns in the 2025 data are still useful. First, the General open cut-off in the non-scheduled area was about 23 marks above the General female cut-off. Second, the General cut-off in the scheduled area was about 29 marks below the non-scheduled one. Plan against the cut-off of your own area and category, and not against the highest figure on the page.

What Affects the Cut Off

  • Difficulty of the paper: A tougher paper pulls scores down. Normalisation, if the exam runs in several shifts, adjusts for this.

  • Number of posts: More vacancies reach lower on the merit list. The 2025 cycle had 1,941 posts.

  • Number of applicants: More competition in a category pushes its cut-off up.

  • Reservation and area: Each category and area has its own list. Scheduled area posts had lower cut-offs in 2025.

  • Negative marking: Each wrong answer costs 1 mark, so careless guesses can move you below the line.

How to Set Your Target

  1. Find your own category, sub-category and area in the tables above and note the 2025 cut-off.

  2. Add a safety margin of at least 20 to 30 marks above that figure, since the next cycle may be harder or more competitive.

  3. Set a section-wise plan. The professional section carries 270 of 450 marks, so aim to score most of your margin there.

  4. Track your mock scores for four weeks. If you cannot stay above your target in at least three of your last five full-length tests, adjust your revision plan.

Cut-offs change every year with difficulty, vacancies and the number of applicants. Treat last year's figures as a benchmark only, and aim for a clear margin above them rather than a bare pass. The Board's order is available as a PDF on the RSSB website.
