SSC CPO Exam
The SSC CPO (Staff Selection Commission Central Police Organization) exam is conducted in various stages to recruit suitable candidates for the positions of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police, Sub-Inspector in CAPFs (Central Armed Police Forces), and Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF (Central Industrial Security Force). The exam pattern typically includes:
Tier 1:
- Subjects: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension.
- Mode of Exam: Computer Based Test (CBT).
- Number of Questions: 200.
- Total Marks: 200.
- Duration: 2 hours.
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer.
Tier 2:
- Subjects: English Language & Comprehension.
- Mode of Exam: Computer Based Test (CBT).
- Number of Questions: 200.
- Total Marks: 200.
- Duration: 2 hours.
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer.
Physical Endurance Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST):
- Candidates who qualify for Tier 1 and Tier 2 exams are called for PET/PST.
- PET includes tasks like running, long jump, high jump, etc.
- PST involves measurement of height, chest, etc.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the SSC CPO exam, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Nationality: Indian.
- Age Limit: 20 to 25 years.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
