UP PGT Mock Tests

Timed UP PGT mock tests in the current 120-question pattern, with analysis to plan revision.

Mock tests are the closest you can get to the UP PGT paper before 15 and 16 December 2026. The written test has 120 questions in 2 hours, with +3 for a correct answer and -1 for a wrong one, so speed and accuracy both need training, not just knowledge of the syllabus.

How to Use UP PGT Mock Tests

  1. Start with topic-wise tests: Test each unit of your subject after you finish it, to find gaps early.

  2. Add General Knowledge sets: Practise 30-question sets on history, polity, geography, economy, science, Uttar Pradesh GK and current affairs.

  3. Move to full-length mocks: In the last weeks, attempt 120 questions in 2 hours, once or twice a week.

  4. Analyse the same day: Review every wrong, skipped and slow question before the memory fades.

What to Track

  • Accuracy: A wrong answer costs a third of a correct one, so track correct answers against attempts.

  • Subject score: The subject paper holds 270 of 360 marks and drives your rank.

  • Time per question: One minute on average is the budget, so note where you overspend.

  • Skipped but solvable: Questions you left that you could have solved show where nerves or time pressure cost you marks.

Common Mistakes

  • Guessing blindly: Random guesses lose marks under negative marking.

  • Skipping analysis: A mock without review teaches little.

  • Using an old pattern: Papers built for the earlier cycle's 125 questions and 425 marks will not match the 2026 scheme.
