CBSE Class 9 Syllabus 2026-27: Subject-wise Chapters and Marks

The CBSE Class 9 syllabus 2026-27 is the first to follow the new secondary scheme of studies based on the National Curriculum Framework for School Education 2023. CBSE released it on 2 April 2026, and every subject is now taught from new NCERT textbooks. Your school uses this syllabus for its periodic tests and the annual examination.

This page lists the textbooks, chapters and unit-wise marks for Mathematics, Science, English and Hindi, the themes for Social Science, and what the optional Advanced Level in Mathematics and Science adds. It also flags what is still awaited from CBSE, so you know which details to confirm with your school.
