Maharashtra Police Constable Mock Test 2026
Timed online tests in the current Maharashtra Police Bharti written test pattern, with analysis to guide revision.
A Maharashtra Police Constable mock test helps you practise the written test the way it is actually set: 100 objective questions in Marathi, 90 minutes, across Arithmetic, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Intelligence Test and Marathi Grammar. Because the written test counts for 100 of the 150 merit marks, a few extra correct answers can move you well up your unit's merit list.
Mocks also show you how fast you work. With under a minute per question, many candidates know the material but run out of time. Regular timed practice fixes that before the real paper.
Types of tests to use
Test type | What it covers | When to take it |
|---|---|---|
Topic test | One topic, such as percentage or sandhi | Right after you study the topic |
Sectional test | One full subject, 20 to 30 questions | Weekly, once a subject is covered |
Full-length mock | 100 questions in 90 minutes | From the second month, then one or two a week |
Previous year paper | A unit's actual written paper | Early to judge the level, then again near the exam |
How to use mock tests
Weeks 1 to 4: Topic tests only, two or three a week, while you build basics.
Weeks 5 to 8: Add one sectional test per subject every week.
Weeks 9 onwards: One full-length mock a week at the same time of day as your exam, rising to two a week in the last month.
Keep physical training going alongside. The physical test comes first, and you need at least 25 out of 50 to reach the written test.
How to analyse a mock
Wrong answers: Note the topic and the reason, such as a concept gap, a calculation slip or a misread question.
Slow questions: Mark any question that took more than 90 seconds, even if you got it right.
Skipped but solvable: Re-try skipped questions without a timer to find marks you left behind.
Error log: Add each mistake to one notebook and revise it before every new mock.
Benchmarks to track
Measure | Target before the exam |
|---|---|
Full-length score | 85 or more out of 100 |
Accuracy | 90 percent or more of attempted questions |
Attempts | All 100 questions within 90 minutes |
Weakest subject | At least 20 out of its share of questions |
These targets are a practical guide drawn from recent unit merit lists, not official figures.
Common mistakes
Practising only in English: The paper is in Marathi, so practise maths and reasoning terms in Marathi too.
Skipping analysis: A mock without review only measures you; it does not improve your score.
Ignoring current affairs: GK questions often come from the months just before the exam.
