Maharashtra Police Constable Study Notes 2026

Revision notes for arithmetic, GK, reasoning and Marathi grammar, built around the Police Bharti written test.

Good Maharashtra Police Constable study notes turn a wide syllabus into a few pages you can revise in an evening. The written test has 100 objective questions in Marathi across Arithmetic, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Intelligence Test and Marathi Grammar, and most questions test facts, rules and short methods. Notes that capture exactly those make the final weeks before the exam far more productive.

How to organise your notes

  • Short notes: One or two pages per topic, written after you study it, not copied from a book.

  • Formula sheet: All arithmetic formulas on a single sheet you read every morning.

  • Error log: Every question you got wrong in a mock, with the correct method.

  • Monthly current affairs: One page per month, with a separate Maharashtra section.

  • Grammar lists: Running lists of idioms and proverbs, adding new ones from each paper you solve.

Revision schedule

  1. Daily: 15 minutes on the formula sheet and grammar lists.

  2. Weekly: Re-read the week's short notes and the error log before your mock.

  3. Monthly: Revise all current affairs pages and older GK notes.

  4. Final two weeks: Revise only from your notes and error log, with a full-length mock every two or three days.

Reliable sources

Base your notes on the four subjects named in the recruitment rules and on previous unit papers and answer keys, which units publish on the official website. For Maharashtra GK and schemes, rely on state government sources. Keep notes on the physical test events too, such as your timings and targets for each event.

Notes and mocks together

Notes work well when mocks tell you what to add. After each mock, put new facts and corrected methods into your notes so the next revision covers your actual gaps. Recruitment rules and updates are on the official Maharashtra Police recruitment page.
