RPSC Junior Accountant Mock Test and Practice Papers

Timed practice for Paper I and Paper II in the two-paper Junior Accountant format, with section-wise analysis.

Why RPSC Junior Accountant Mock Tests Matter

An RPSC Junior Accountant mock test recreates the two-paper written exam: 150 objective questions in 150 minutes for each paper, with negative marking reported at one-third of a question's marks. Mocks build the speed and judgement that this format demands, especially in Paper II accounts and rules questions.

RPSC last held this exam on 4 October 2016. The latest Junior Accountant and TRA cycle was conducted by RSMSSB, so check the RSMSSB Junior Accountant page for the current pattern. The subjects overlap strongly, so practice in this format stays useful.

Practise in the Right Pattern

Each paper has six subjects worth 75 marks each, as reported. Paper I covers Hindi, English, Rajasthan GK, General Science, Mathematics and Computer. Paper II covers Bookkeeping and Accountancy, Business Methods, Auditing, Indian Economics, Rajasthan Service Rules and GF and AR.

How to Use Mock Tests

  1. Phase 1 (concepts): Two or three topic tests a week, untimed at first, to check understanding.

  2. Phase 2 (speed): Subject tests at about one minute per question, twice a week.

  3. Phase 3 (full papers): One full Paper I and one full Paper II mock each week.

  4. Phase 4 (exam simulation): Both papers on the same day, twice a week, at the real exam timings.

How to Analyse a Mock

  • Wrong answers: Note whether the error was a concept gap, a misread question or a careless slip.

  • Slow questions: Mark questions that took over two minutes, often accounts calculations, and practise shortcuts.

  • Skipped but solvable: Count questions you skipped but could have solved. This shows if you are too cautious.

  • Error log: Add every mistake to one notebook and revise it weekly.

Benchmarks to Track

  • Accuracy: Aim for 85% or higher on attempted questions, because each wrong answer costs a mark.

  • Combined score: The reported 2016 General JA cut-off was 583.91 out of 900, so aim for a clear margin above it. See the RPSC Junior Accountant cut-off page.

  • Subject floor: Do not let any subject fall below about 40 out of 75.

  • Time: Finish each paper with 10 minutes to spare for checking.

Common Mistakes

  • Only practising Paper I: Paper II decides ranks, so give it at least equal mock time.

  • Blind guessing: With negative marking, random guesses lower your score over time.

  • Skipping analysis: A mock without review teaches very little.
