RPSC Junior Accountant Syllabus: Paper I and Paper II Guide
The RPSC Junior Accountant syllabus covered two objective papers for the Junior Accountant and Tehsil Revenue Accountant (TRA) posts. Paper I tested general subjects, and Paper II tested accountancy, auditing, economics and Rajasthan's service and financial rules. This syllabus belongs to the last RPSC cycle, Combined Advertisement 08/2013-14, with papers held on 2 August 2015 and 4 October 2016.
RPSC no longer conducts this recruitment. The latest Junior Accountant and TRA cycle, notified in June 2023, was run by RSMSSB, so check the RSMSSB Junior Accountant syllabus before you finalise a study plan. The subject list below is still the right base, because the two-paper structure and most subjects carried over.
Honesty note: The topic lists below are built from the subject names in the RPSC scheme and from questions in RPSC's 2015 and 2016 papers. Use them as a working checklist, not as an official topic list.
Syllabus at a Glance

|---|---|---|---|---|
Paper I | 6 general subjects | 150 | 450 | 2 hours 30 minutes |

Key Changes to Know
Conducting body changed: The 2013 cycle was RPSC's. The 2023 cycle was conducted by RSMSSB, which also required candidates to have taken the Rajasthan CET (Graduate level).
Rule names can change: Later cycles were reported to name specific rule sets in Paper II. Always match the rules subject to the current notification.
One-paper pages are wrong: Some older pages show a single 150-question paper. The RPSC scheme had two papers.
