RSMSSB Cut Off 2026: CET Qualifying Marks and Post-wise Cut-off

RSMSSB cut-offs come in two kinds. The first is the fixed minimum score you need in the Common Eligibility Test (CET) conducted by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (formerly RSMSSB). The second is the post-wise cut-off, which the board announces after each main exam and which decides who moves to the next stage. This page gives both, using official figures, so you can set a realistic target.

Cut-offs change every year with difficulty, vacancies and the number of applicants. Treat past figures as a benchmark only, and aim for a clear margin above them.

What Affects RSMSSB Cut-offs

  • Number of vacancies: More posts in a category usually bring the cut-off down.

  • Paper difficulty and normalisation: Multi-shift exams are normalised, and deleted questions change the marks per valid question.

  • Negative marking: One-third of a question's marks is lost for each wrong answer, and for a blank answer without option E.

  • Area and category: Scheduled Area and Non-Scheduled Area posts have separate lists and cut-offs.

For the CET, aim well above 40 percent so a tough paper does not knock you out. For a post like Clerk Grade-II, the General Non-Scheduled Area cut-off was about 77 percent of the written marks. Target 80 percent or more in your mocks before the exam. You can take RSMSSB online tests on Testkart to track your score against these benchmarks.
