UIIC Assistant Mock Test 2026: Online Practice Tests
Practise UIIC Assistant online mock tests in the real 200-question, 120-minute pattern with section-wise analysis.
A UIIC Assistant mock test is the closest you can get to the real online exam before test day. The exam has 200 questions across five tests, a 120-minute composite timer and a penalty for wrong answers, so speed and accuracy have to be trained together. Reading a syllabus will not build that skill, and full-length practice does.
Types of tests to attempt
Test type | What it covers | When to take it |
|---|---|---|
Topic-wise test | One topic, such as syllogism or error spotting | While learning a topic |
Sectional test | One full test of 40 questions, for example Numerical Ability | After finishing a subject |
Full-length mock | All five tests, 200 questions, 250 marks, 120 minutes | From the middle of your preparation, then weekly |
Practise in the current pattern
The pattern from the last Assistant recruitment of United India Insurance Company Limited has five tests of 40 questions and 50 marks each, with one-fourth of the marks deducted for each wrong answer and no penalty for unanswered questions. UIIC also applied a minimum of 5 marks in each test in the last cycle. A good mock follows the same structure, so your scores mean something.
How to use mock tests
Start early with sectional tests: take one or two a week once you finish a subject.
Add full-length mocks in the middle phase: one a week, in a single sitting, with the 120-minute timer.
Increase frequency near the exam: two or three full mocks a week in the final month, each followed by same-day analysis.
Re-attempt old mocks: after two weeks, retake a past paper to check that your mistakes are fixed.
How to analyse a mock
Wrong answers: sort them into concept gaps, careless errors and bad guesses. Each needs a different fix.
Slow questions: note any question that took more than a minute and decide whether to skip it next time.
Skipped but solvable: these are marks you can win by better time management.
Sectional scores: compare all five tests to find the one pulling your total down.
Benchmarks to track
Track attempts, accuracy and corrected score in each test. Aim to stay clearly above the sectional minimum in every test and to reach a total above last year's state cut-off for your category.
Common mistakes
Only taking easy tests: scores feel good but do not prepare you for the pressure of the real exam.
Skipping analysis: a mock without review wastes most of its value.
Ignoring the computer and awareness tests: these are the quickest marks, and each test has the same weight.
Guessing without elimination: wrong answers cost marks.
